“The DPO oscillator is one of my favourite sound sources. It’s harmonically rich, has tons of options and is extremely playable. I had a blast designing these sounds, going from patch to patch, improvising and recording as I went along. A light touch of reverb or short delay was sometimes added to enrich the loops even further. They all include subtle variation and modulation, presenting many variations on one theme. A clever producer will know how to maximize this by looping different sections of the loop during different periods in a composition. Multiple mutations mean infinite possibilities for your music.” Peter Van Hoesen
